Option 1: ORTOVOX Training Park
Practicing and mastering the use of emergency equipment is just as important as risk-conscious behavior on the mountain! In ORTOVOX training parks, there are several permanently installed transmitters. Different burial scenarios can be simulated, and simple and complex rescues with multiple buried victims can be practiced. This way you can prepare for emergency situations.
Option 2: ORTOVOX-Checkpoints
In the case of an avalanche, you will need to have a functioning avalanche transceiver, a probe and shovel, as well as friends with the same equipment. The safety checkpoint provides a reliable check to ensure your transceiver is switched on, and also checks the transmission parameters.
