Light fleece hoody for all seasons

Lightweight, versatile and functional fleece hoody for any alpine activity

  • Breathable and quick drying
  • Optimal moisture wicking thanks to the waffle structure inside
  • Elastic and comfortable

Whether we’re climbing, on an alpine tour or mountaineering – we like companions that do everything with us. That’s why our MERINO FLEECE LIGHT line is durable, lightweight and, thanks to fine Tasmanian merino wool, comfortable on the skin. Technical features such as backpack-compatible front pockets, bonded frame and gap-closing thumb loops make our no-frills FLEECE LIGHT HOODY for women an ideal second layer – for all seasons. Fine Tasmanian merino wool and inner waffle structure ensure good moisture wicking and feel dry on the skin during arduous activities. The material is also extremely breathable, quick drying and highly stretchable. The outside is smooth, so the material provides less contact surface.

In addition, the FLEECE LIGHT HOODY for women has a full-length zip and two front pockets that provide plenty of room for cold hands or small essentials. The sleeves are held by two thumb loops that will warm your pulse and perfectly seal any gaps. The hood’s single-layer construction means it will fit under any helmet and protect against wind and weather.

Unfortunately not odorless I like wearing the jacket because it is light, warm and also protects a little from the wind. I chose merino because I'm often on the go for several days and don't want to spread the smell of sweat. Unfortunately, I quickly start to sweat and after 3 days the jacket starts to smell under the armpits - but only from the outside - inside Merino keeps what it promises, but unfortunately the outside made of polyester doesn't. Maybe that can be optimized.

Servus Hendrikje, thank you very much for your feedback. This happens from time to time, but has nothing to do with the merino wool. Our tip (a bit unusual but helps in most cases): put your jacket in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for at least 24 hours. Then wash immediately according to the care symbols on the label - please also note the back of the label! After that, the unpleasant smell should be gone. I hope this helps you.
