Twice as sustainable, twice as cool

Comfortable, durable merino shirt with cooling effect for varied alpine tours

Highlights

  • Cooling effect thanks to sustainable natural fibers
  • Moisture regulating and quick drying
  • Rugged and long lasting

Strong, robust and twice as cool: Thanks to its durable yarn and natural cooling effect, the 150 COOL LEAVES T-SHIRT for women is perfect for hot summer days in the mountains – and it also contributes to saving one of the oldest rainforests in the world. With BETA-SPUN technology, fine polyamide filaments are spun around a core of merino wool and Tencel®, giving the 150 COOL LEAVES T-SHIRT for women its resistance to tearing and abrasion. And the fine merino fibers have a temperature and moisture regulating effect, while Tencel® fibers ensure great evaporative coolness when things get hot. With its athletic cut, cool colors and casual print, the 150 COOL LEAVES T-SHIRT for women is thus the perfect companion for hot summer days! And the 150 COOL LEAVES TS is dedicated to the Tarkine, a primeval forest in North West Tasmania that covers almost 495,000 hectares and is under severe threat from large-scale deforestation for the mining and timber industries. For every t-shirt purchased we donate 5% to the Bob Brown Foundation, which is committed to the conservation of this rainforest.

150 MERINO COOL
In the 150 MERINO COOL line, ORTOVOX combines TencelTM fibers, sourced from sustainable forestry, with merino wool. The wood fibers are characterized by great evaporative coolness and flat fiber surface – ensuring it cools automatically. An intricate spinning process makes the material mix robust and extremely functional. BETA-SPUN technology refers to a manufacturing process where fine polyamide fibers are spun around merino wool and TencelTM. The protective polyamide sheathing means the fabric is exceptionally scuff-resistant and robust – without sacrificing the benefits of merino fibers or the cooling TencelTM fibers.
