SAFETY ACADEMY Climbing Advanced

Multi-Pitch-Climbs - Climbing fun rock routes

Are you already climbing at grade 5 in a climbing park and the climbing gym? Want to start climbing routes with several pitches in alpine terrain? In our SAFETY ACADEMY CLIMBING ADVANCED course you’ll learn all the necessary belaying techniques and skills you need to climb your first well-protected multi-pitch routes independently after the course. Over the course of two days we’ll teach you the basics of belaying, rappelling, the necessary rope commands and plenty of alpine expertise which will then allow you to conquer large rock faces.

  • You should have initial experience of climbing in natural rock climbing parks (grade III-IV)
  • You should be able to walk safely on rough terrain and be fit enough for approaches of 1—2 hours
  • Independent climbing of bolt-protected multi-rope routes and mastery of the relevant belay techniques
  • Acquiring basic knowledge and skills for climbing simple, well-secured, fun alpine routes
Our climbing courses firmly focus on practical experience. Our ALPINE CLIMBING course is your next step towards independent alpine climbing. We will deepen your existing knowledge, expanding it to include everything that alpine routes require: orientation on the approach and on rock faces, advanced belay techniques and belay station variations, the use of traditional climbing equipment, sound hazard assessment and risk assessment! Benefit from the alpine expertise of our Safety Academy mountain guides – hands-on, efficient and directly applicable.

  • Basic knowledge from CLIMBING ADVANCED or other sport climbing courses and the completion of several bolt-protected multi-rope routes, UIAA 4/4a to 5+/5a
