Hip pack that can do big days
I received this hip pack as a test rider for Ortovox. First off this is very well designed and durable. It has tons of features including a deployable knee pad holder. If you want to replace a backpack with a hip pack this is the way to go. I could fit all of my backcountry essentials in here and more. It also has a water bottle holder and a place for a bladder if you’d like. Super well organized throughout. If you’re meticulous about organizing your stuff this is definitely for you. As far as the fit goes, it’s a bit on the bulky side especially when packed, but it doesn’t bounce around much. I honestly thought it would be worse. The hip straps have lots of padding and are comfortable. It sorta locked onto my upper pelvis and didn’t slide around at all. For a hip pack, this has an excellent design and really can hold all of the essentials for medium to long rides or just a few essentials for an after work rip. Overall would recommend.
