Volcan Villarrica in Pucon, Chile- I saw lava spraying out of the crater standing on the crest of the summit before skiing down for the Red Bull Out of Hell competition.
Mt. Rainier on the June solstice 2018. Free-solo ice climbed and self-baleyed ski descent of the Kautz glacier and ice chute. 18 hours starting at 10:00 pm and climbing through the shortest night of the year. We were turned around trying to super tour (up the Katuz, down the Finger) in the upper Nisqually Glacier by a show-stopper crack in the ice. We ended up climbing over 12,000 ft.
