Emma Longcope

Emma is a climber, skier, artist, and writer who loves long days in the mountains followed by grilled cheese. She’s interested in sustainability, the intersection of art and the environment, and balancing days of pushing her limits with days of type-one-fun that her puppy Hatcher can join. She grew up in Maine, then came out West for college and climbing. Now, she’s jumping into the world of ski mountaineering and realizing that going down can be just as fun as going up. She’s also interested in paying forward the mentorship she’s found through guiding, and currently holds an AMGA SPI certification.
