The ski backpack for any situation

Versatile, technical and comfortable ski touring backpack for demanding tours

Highlights

  • optimum fit and load distribution
  • scuff and water-resistant
  • spacious and well designed

The HAUTE ROUTE has been around almost since the birth of ski touring. Our enduring classic is perfect for longer ski excursions.

Cordura®, PFC-free double-layered Polyamide 420D Oxford and PU coating on all fabrics make our HAUTE ROUTE 30 S extremely scuff and water resistant. This backpack fits perfectly thanks to its load control cords and ergonomically shaped O-Flex-2 back system with S-shaped stabilizer, which distributes weight evenly between the hips and the shoulders, even over lengthy periods. The hip fins connect inside the back system so that they wrap comfortably and seamlessly around the body. The HAUTE ROUTE 30 S has a specially designed shortened back system for smaller people.

With its larger capacity, the HAUTE ROUTE 30 S has space for all you may need. The spacious main compartment is accessible from the top and back, which means all backpack contents will be easily accessible, while a separate safety compartment provides rapid access to emergency equipment. Thanks to the rope attachment on the lid, you can pack and unpack your rope without having to open the backpack. In addition to the crampon fastening, ice axe and hiking pole fastening and fixed helmet net, there are also fasteners for a snowboard, for example. Skis can be fastened using either the classic or diagonal method.

No matter how long and challenging the tour, the HAUTE ROUTE 30 S will equip you well for any multi-day tour.

A very well organized pack appropriate for a very wide variety of backcountry touring, completely adaptable to differing conditions whether you need crampons, ice axe, rope, or just a the essentials for a long day out.

Liebes Ortovox Team, Ich habe mir letztes Jahr den Rucksack Haute Route 30 S gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Einziges Manko bzw. Liebe Grüße Heidi Dear Ortovox team, I bought the Haute Route 30 S backpack last year and am very happy with it. The only drawback or suggestion for improvement on my part: The hip bag is designed too small, there should actually be space for a mobile phone and it should be easily accessible. My Huawei P30 lite is not a very big cell phone, but unfortunately it doesn't fit in it... which I think is a shame... Greetings Heidi
