• REACH: Effective search-strip width of 80m¹ and 90m for all ORTOVOX avalanche transceivers with Smart Antenna Technology.
• PERMANENT OVERVIEW AND SCROLLING FUNCTION FOR MULTIPLE BURIED VICTIMS: The current distance to the four nearest transmitters is permanently displayed at the bottom of the screen – the scrolling function allows you to select specific buried persons. This ensures a clear overview and efficient group searches.
• MANUAL REDUCED REACH: Fixed adjustment of the search-strip width to 3m or 20m enables targeted focusing on nearby signals and minimizes interference in challenging scenarios.
• ANOLOG AUDIO OUTPUT: Analog-only mode with unfiltered raw signals for complex scenarios. Hybrid mode with digital display and analog sound reproduction – for acoustic detection of sources of interference and overlapping signals with full support from digital technology.

• PATENTED³ SMART ANTENNA TECHNOLOGY: Analyzes the device’s location in the avalanche and automatically switches to the optimal transmitting antenna – for up to twice the reach and faster location.
• STANDBY MODE WITH SECONDARY AVALANCHE SWITCHOVER: Protective function for rescue workers who are not actively searching. In standby mode your own transmitting signal is temporarily suppressed so as not to interfere with the search. If the FOCUS PRO does not detect movement, it automatically switches to transmit mode after two minutes – so that rescuers who are not searching can also be located quickly in the event of a secondary avalanche.
• SEARCH MODE WITH SECONDARY AVALANCHE SWITCHOVER: Protective function for rescuers who are actively searching. If the FOCUS PRO does not detect movement during the search, it automatically switches to transmit mode after two minutes – so that searchers can be located quickly in the event of a secondary avalanche.
• INTERFERENCE PROTECTION: Automatic adjustment to electronic interference sources for maximum transmission performance.
