Lightweight and supple for full freedom of movement when freeriding: The 3L DEEP SHELL PANTS for men offer full protection and high comfort combined with low weight.
The wind- and waterproof DERMIZAX®NX high-performance membrane from Toray is lined with merino wool in areas of the body that are particularly sensitive to the cold, guaranteeing optimum heat retention and a comfortable fit. These lightweight freeriding pants have anatomically shaped knees and a comfortable cut to guarantee freedom of movement in any terrain. Ventilation zippers on the sides provide additional ventilation when the going gets tough.
The spacious, extended thigh pockets ensure everything can be neatly stowed away and yet accessed quickly. The avalanche transceiver carabiner integrated into the right pocket provides a permanent place for your avalanche transceiver.
Thanks to their robust membrane and flat seams, the 3L DEEP SHELL PANTS for men are particularly durable and long-wearing. The integrated Dyneema-Cordura gaiters and sharp-edge protectors provide additional protection when freeriding. The pants are also PFC-free and climate neutral in the interest of sustainability. Our sustainable MERINO WOOL comes from monitored, ethical sheep farms. It is comfortably soft, easy to care for, and provides an optimum body climate thanks to its moisture- and temperature-regulating properties.
DERMIZAX NX is a particularly elastic PU membrane made by TORAY, and provides protection in all weathers. It is wind- and waterproof yet offers high breathability, which increases the more you sweat.

Pantalon très bien conçu et agréable à porter en ski de randonnée. Il parait solide et durable. La ceinture par scratch fonctionne efficacement. Pas besoin de ceinture. Par contre il manque un zip sur le bas des jambes pour permettre au pantalon de couvrir les chaussures à la montée. C'est mon regret principal pour ce pantalon mais cela ne m'empêche pas de l'utiliser à chaque sortie.

Dovrebbe essere un pantalone top di gamma, ma si comporta come un pantalone di fascia media o bassa. Li ho utilizzati solo per 4 uscite di scialpinismo e la protezione inferiore ha già un piccolo taglio causato dalla lamina dello sci durante l'inversione. In precedenza avevo un pantalone Patagonia che è durato 3 anni senza mai avere questo tipo di danno. Inoltre, durante la salita e dopo molto tempo di marcia, il pantalone tende a cadere e deve essere riallacciato. La libertà di movimento non è ottimale, anche se buona. L'impermeabilità mi sembra adeguata per il momento. Concludo dicendo che sicuramente mi aspettavo molto di più da un pantalone con un prezzo così alto. Una volta che i pantaloni 3L deepshell saranno troppo consumati difficilmente effettuerò un ulteriore acquisto presso Ortovox.

Awesome pants. However sadly don’t wear very well, one day of heli skiing and sitting on Velcro destroyed the pants, they look like a woollen jumper now. Everyone else’s pants were OK.

Die Hose hat ein sehr gute Passform. Nur der Kantenschutz müsste besser sein. Nach den ersten paar Skitagen mit dieser Hose habe kleinere und größere Risse im Kantenschutz. Das ist nicht die Qualität die ich mir vorstellen. Als Freeride Hose sollte doch das Matrial etwas mehr aushalten.

These are beautiful pants and look like they are very durable but the sizes are off. I'm 6'1 and 170 with an athletic build and based on their size chart I should get a medium which fit great in the legs etc but I would have to have a 28" waist to get them to close so sadly I had to return them. I'm sure they are great pants but the sizing is weird. The next size up was way too baggy in the legs although it did fit around the waist. Ultimately I went with their new Orter 3l pants which are awesome. Like I said I'm sure these are great but just couldn't get a size that worked for me..

Kantenschutz zu schwach. 1 mal getragen, 2 cm langer Schlitz wie durch Butter beim Kantenschutz. Wasser perlt nicht ab, gemäss Ortovox habe ich die Hosen gewaschen und nicht richtig impregniert. Habe die Hose neu und noch nie gewaschen. Schade muss man eine Hose in dieser Preisklasse neugekauft noch impregnieren. Ansonsten ist die Hose gut.
