Wool meets down – the best of both worlds combined in our DOWNWOOL line.
Our DOWNWOOL 270 JACKET is our warmest insulated jacket – developed for extreme conditions, sweat-inducing activities and cold and damp weather. The innovative inside filling made of DownWool® by Grüezi Bag® is a combination of 70% down and 30% wool. The result: The wool actively absorbs moisture and helps the down achieve up to 30% more lofting capability – for noticeably more volume and insulation in wet conditions or when sweating heavily. It also effectively wicks away moisture and reliably prevents overheating.
Additional weather protection is provided by the windproof, water-resistant PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO outer material, as well as by the two-way adjustable hood, pre-adjusted cuffs, and adjustable waistband. Recycled wool padding is used on the sides and underarms – for optimum warmth and freedom of movement. Two spacious front pockets with a soft lining and a practical breast pocket for a cell phone or valuables complete the clever design of the DOWNWOOL 270 JACKET.
