Even on biting cold winter days, the Swisswool PIZ VIAL JACKET for women keeps ski tourers on track.
With its full coverage 90 g/m² lining and an ideal weight-to-insulation ratio, this is one of the warmest Swisswool items in the ski touring collection – the striking zig-zag, mountain-shaped quilting also gives it a cool look.
The innovative PERTEX® QUANTUM DIAMOND FUSE outer material consists of a thick-knit diamond-shaped yarn made from 100% recycled polyamide. This slightly shiny material is windproof, water resistant, breathable and extremely robust.
The jacket has a high collar and elasticated inserts on the cuffs to combat the icy air in the mountains. The two front pockets are backpack compatible and easy to access. The active, ergonomic but casual cut provides maximum freedom of movement.

We have been using Swisswool– wool fibers from Switzerland – as insulation material since 2011. A wool of regional origin, it warms superbly even when wet, is easy to care for and offers a perfect microclimate.
PERTEX® DIAMOND FUSE material is made up of unique diamond shaped filaments that lock together to create a highly abrasion-resistant fabric. Water simply rolls off of the material’s smooth surface.
PERTEX® QUANTUM fabric is extremely windproof and abrasion-resistant thanks to its tightly woven construction, while remaining pleasantly soft. It is also particularly lightweight and packs down very small.
