Mountain biking means freedom, flow — and sometimes a fall far away from immediate assistance. This is exactly where the Safety Academy’s mountain biking first aid courses provide you with practical knowledge for typical injuries and structured emergency management on trails, forest paths, in bike parks or on alpine terrain.

Training and practice take place where it counts: in the mountains. In realistic scenarios, you will work in a group to learn how to deal with falls and acute illnesses — from getting an initial overview of the situation to providing safe care and handing over to professional emergency services.

Course details

The Safety Academy mountain biking first aid course combines alpine first aid skills with the specific requirements of cycling, thereby creating a solid foundation for greater safety on trails. There’s no dry theory involved here, just knowing what to do: stay calm, make the right decisions and provide effective help when it matters. Step by step, you build routine and confidence in your abilities — whether you’re riding solo or with others.

“Mountain biking thrives on the joy of riding and shared moments on the mountain.
However, a minor riding error can rapidly escalate into an emergency situation —
this is also part and parcelof the sport. Just as good cycling technique helps you
