The system works in mountain areas that are difficult to access, on the rock face, on glaciers, in snow, on water and in wooded areas.

If it’s possible to fly, you can use SAR 365 days a year, both in summer and in winter.

Speed counts when rescuing. SAR can be used at a speed of 130 km/h and has a search area width of 200 meters. This means that a square kilometer can be searched in 3-4 minutes, which is equivalent to 30 soccer fields per minute.

Always ready for use

Reflectors do not require activation or batteries. They weigh no more than 4 grams and work passively – they merely reflect the SAR detector’s radar search signal.
