OPTIMAL COMPRESSION FOR YOUR SKI TOUR

Functional merino socks with graduated compression function for long ski tours

No more fatigue on endless climbs? A dream for all tourers! And that’s exactly why the TOUR COMPRESSION could well become your new favorite sock on long, hard ascents. The sophisticated compression supports the muscles and protects against fatigue.

GRADUATED COMPRESSION
The compression function of our TOUR COMPRESSION sock is in line with the European CEN standard and provides class 1 compression (mild pressure, 15–21mmHg). This means the COMPRESSION EFFECT is HIGHER AT THE ANKLE THAN IN THE CALF AREA. Compression HELPS THE VEINS TO CARRY low-oxygen, high-lactate BLOOD BACK TO THE HEART and replace this with fresh blood. In this way provision to the muscles can be improved and premature fatigue prevented.

And the TOUR COMPRESSION also excels in its fit: The SKI COMPRESSION has an extra ergonomic right/left fit that sits optimally on the foot. The flat body construction allows for a crease and pressure-free fit. What’s more, the ankle stabilization zone and the elastic cuff prevent unnecessary slipping. To avoid blisters and chafing, we have kept the toe seam flat. The padded heel and toe areas also improve the cushioning and protects against chafing. For good breathability, we have incorporated a 360-degree webbing system on the foot: You’ll therefore feel comfortable, even on strenuous climbs.
Merino wool means the socks are naturally moisture and odor neutralizing and feel very comfortable. The TOUR COMPRESSION therefore feels at home on demanding ski tours as well as on alpine or long mountain tours – precisely when there is no room for fatigue.
