LASTING WARMTH IN THE BITING COLD

Windproof, water-resistant, cozy jacket with SWISSWOOL insulation against the biting cold

With a new lining and MERINO WOOL on the INSIDE, we’ve once again made our SWISSWOOL jackets even more comfortable! The jackets are lined with FAIR-TRADE SWISS VIRGIN WOOL and have an ideal weightto- insulation ratio (150 g/m²). The warm wool means they are perfect for cold days in the mountains. The nylon outer material is also fully WINDPROOF and WATER-RESISTANT. On the inside, 100 % merino wool inserts in the front and back increase wear comfort – particularly on cold days.

For sufficient freedom of movement and the best insulation, the weight-to-insulation ratio in the hood and sleeves is 120g/m². It is precisely these parts of the body where more flexibility is required on strenuous climbs and descents. The homogeneous 150g/m² wool lining will keep you warm. The close-fitting cuffs also help retain warmth inside the jacket. If your fingers still get cold, the two front pockets will quickly bring them back up to temperature. There is space for small items in the inner pocket and breast pocket .

The ergonomic cut, the adjustable hood and the width-adjustable seam (with drawstring) also ensure that the jacket offers an all-round good fit – no matter what the activity. Thus you’ll be optimally equipped on icy summits, cold ski tours or windy descents.

I bought this jacket in size S and it fits perfectly. Thanks to the merino wool on the inside, it is very comfortable and comfortable. There are three outside pockets and one inside pocket. I am 100% convinced of the Piz Bianco jacket - it's worth buying!

Excellent jacket to wear on the snow/mountains! I bought a size M and tested the jacket in -5C weather while snow tubing on the mountains of California. I had worn a Patagonia micro-light vest underneath this Ortovox jacket, but soon I was sweating buckets! So I just stuck to a T-shirt and the Piz Bianco jacket for the rest of the day, and I was warm and toasty. I am really blown away by the high quality construction, bold colors and excellent warmth to weight ratio! I REALLY wish Ortovox was more easily available in the US. Please make it happen :) One thing to note is that the jacket's cut is a lil athletic. I was in between an M and an L. I could have fit in the L just fine, but I like a more snug fit and I stuck to size M. I'll highly recommend Ortovox products based on my experience this past month. You won't be disappointed!

Ansonsten perfekt! One of the best jackets ever. Warm, relatively light - I use them on winter bike and ski tours. Also tried and tested in film and photo productions. Excellent hood construction, great cut. Perfect details. What is still missing are inner pockets for heat pads from TheHeatCompany for film productions where you stand on set for a long time. Otherwise perfect!
