Warranty extension

Easily request services

You can book yourself a service via your customer account.

We currently offer the following services

  • Avalanche transceiver repair:
    Your avalanche transceiver is not working properly or is repeatedly displaying an error message.
     
  • Check:
    We recommend that you have us carry out your first avalanche transceiver check after 5 years, and every 2 years after that. A comprehensive general service must also be carried out on your AVABAG system no later than 5 years after the purchase date or straight after an avalanche.
     
  • Update your avalanche transceiver:
    Would you like to have your avalanche transceivers updated to the most recent software?

We are currently working on expanding our range of services for you. It’s exciting!
 

This is how a service request works

  1. You set up an ORTOVOX customer account.
  2. You fill out the form under the “Service requests” tab.
  3. Then you send your device to the listed address.
  4. Your service request is processed. You can see the current status of your request in your customer account.
  5. Your product will be sent back to you. You will also receive an invoice and a comprehensive service report to download.
     

What types of payment are possible?

You can currently pay for your service requests by invoice.

Complete data control

Your customer account provides you with an overview of all the data you have given us for the processing of your store orders, service requests and product registration.

You can provide, add to, edit and also delete this data at any time.

Always up to date

You can register your product in just a few steps under “My products” in your customer account.

Your benefits:

  • After registering, you will always be the first to be directly notified of safety-relevant product information and software updates. This means you will always have your equipment in the latest, safest working order!
  • You will also have your warranty extended from 2 to 5 years on selected products*.
  • You will always have an overview of all your ORTOVOX products.
     

Which products can be registered?

  • All mechanical AVABAGs that have a cartridge system
  • All avalanche transceivers
     

*You will benefit from a warranty extension for the following products:

  • the DIRACT and DIRACT VOICE avalanche transceivers
  • ZOOM
  • 3+
  • S1+

How do you register a product?

  1. Go to “Products” and “Register a new product” in your customer account
  2. Fill out the form in just a few steps
  3. Your product has been successfully registered. You will receive a confirmation email.

  • the LiTRIC system (please note: the LiTRIC backpack is not covered by an extended warranty)
  • the DIRACT and DIRACT VOICE avalanche transceivers
