"My main goals are to stay safe, healthy, and have fun. Staying safe doesnt sound like much of a goal but for big mountain and backcountry skiers, it can be a major challenge. As athletes, we are constantly assessing snowpack stability, avalanche hazard, and obstacles in our line choice, often in a short amount of time. I want to ski until Im at least 100 so I make choices in my skiing to reflect that. I love the rush of flying off a cliff or floating through the powder, but sometimes it takes just as much nerve to say no especially when you are trying to impress a photographer, filmmaker or fellow athlete.
I hope to inspire others to live a healthy, active lifestyle!
