"I use every spare minute I have for climbing: In the summer I'm climbing – my favorite areas are the Dolomites and the southwestern United States. The winter draws me to solitary ski traverses in the Alps. In recent years, the mountaineering expedition has been added. In the process I became the first German woman to ascent the Aconcagua south face.
But it is not only the mighty mountains of the Himalayas or South America that impress me, but particularly the people with their different cultures and religions."
