One plate -lots of functions: the SAFETY PLATE developed by ORTOVOX: for all safety items you need in winter. The avalanche shovel, probe, first aid kit and bivvy bag are compactly and efficiently organized on the SAFETY PLATE. One single grip push - and the safety equipment can be placed within the backpack and in a flash all items are at hand.

The plate serves as a support for applying splints and for building a sled. The printing explains how to build an emergency sled. It had been also seen as a seat cover and a snack plate.
